CALDWELL, Texas (KBTX) - The Caldwell Hornets defeated the Crockett Bulldogs 47-32 on Friday to kick off the season. Here’s a rapid reaction:

Why did Caldwell win? The game was neck and neck until the fourth quarter, when the Hornets’ offense put the game away.

Standout performance: Hornets quarterback, Korbin Burns, started the game strong with a long pass to Dylan Carter in the end zone for a touchdown. Burns continued to find a way to get the ball into the endzone throughout the night.
