BUFFALO, Texas (KBTX) - Centerville maintained their recent dominance over its rival, Buffalo. The Tigers pounced on the Bison, 48-27, to pick up their 4th-straight opening week win over their neighbors in Leon County.
Why did Centerville win? The Tigers slow, methodical run game wore down the Bison with long, taxing scoring drives. After building up a sizeable lead, Centerville was able to control the time of possession against Buffalo. The Bison hit a handful of big plays, but they were too few and far between.
