Here are the Upstate's top performers from Week 1 of the SCHSL football season .

Ty’Qwon Booker, Broome: Booker rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries in a 35-34 overtime home victory against Chesnee. He also had three catches for 23 yards.

Jameson Dearybury, Broome: Dearybury passed for 124 yards and ran for 43 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown.
