Rocklin edged Bishop Manogue and Reed lost at Twelve Bridges in Lincoln, Calif.

In the 3A-North, Fallon shut out South Tahoe and Truckee and Elko both took convincing wins.

Reno went ahead 12-0 in the first quarter, on a catch-and-run by Greysen Hutzler on a pass from Braylon Wilson and then a TD run by Jackson Mathews, but Foothill woke up and took a 20-12 at halftime, thanks to an 80-yard hook-and-ladder play right before the half.

Hutzler scored again on pass from Wilson to tie the game at 20 early in the third quarter, then Wilson ran in for the go-ahead score, 28-20.
