SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Rain has moved in and will stick around for a lot of Saturday.

An area of low pressure moving along a stalled frontal boundary will help focus moisture and rain chances across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. Scattered rain gives way to numerous areas of rain and storms by midday.

Expect rain and storms to gradually wind down by this evening and dry time by sunset. Temperatures will be mild to start Sunday, and more dry time is expected compared to today. Scattered showers and a rumble of thunder or two are possible for the afternoon.

Labor Day will feature a 30% chance of showers and storms. Be sure to have backup indoor plans but dry time will dominate.
