The sky near Marina Park came alive Thursday night at the conclusion of the summer send-off for the Live on the Waterfront concert series. Hundreds of drones took to the air at dusk and formed different animations in the sky, for an 18-minute show.

Thousands filled the festival area at the park, with people excited to witness a first-time public event of this nature in the Thunder Bay area.The drone show was a partnership with the Thunder Bay International Airports Authority and featured over 400 drones, which dazzled the audience with imagery in the sky.
