KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Warm afternoons with plenty of sunshine will be the story over the next few days before scattered rain enters the picture by early next week.

SATURDAY: It’s gameday here in East TN, and the forecast is looking terrific for any outdoor plans. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s by noon today with a mostly clear sky, so great weather if you have any tailgate plans. Temperatures will top out in the middle 80s by this afternoon with a few passing clouds. The majority of us will be dry today, but an isolated shower cannot be ruled out, especially in the higher elevations.

I’M ALL VOL FORECAST IN ATLANTA: A passing downpour is possible outside the Dome before or after the game. It will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s to near 80.
