A Texas wholesaler is recalling some of its pretzels because of undeclared allergens.

The recall was initiated voluntarily by Dollins Pecan Co., Inc., based in Comanche, Texas, after it was discovered that the pretzels contained an undeclared wheat allergen not listed on the packaging.

The Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) said the omission could be dangerous for individuals with wheat sensitivities or celiac disease, who may experience reactions ranging from mild digestive issues to more serious health complications.

Dollins Pecan Co., Inc. could not be reached for comment.
