Both the Celina and Frisco Panther Creek football teams began the 2025 season ranked in the top 10 for Class 4A Division I and looked the part on Friday with a pair of commanding victories in their respective season openers.

Meanwhile, Lake Dallas is anxious to wedge its way into the 9-4A Division I playoff conversation this season and took a productive step on Friday with a decisive victory of its own.
