HOUSTON — When Harris County deputies responded to what looked like a suicide, something didn't add up. What they uncovered led to a murder arrest 12 days later.

The victim's friend was charged with murder in connection with the death of a 34-year-old United Kingdom resident who was shot in the head at a home in northwest Harris County on August 17.

Sean Odonnell, 37, was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail on Thursday on charges of allegedly murdering Aaron Prout, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
