AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department announced that the Amarillo Shooting Complex will be closed for repairs on Labor Day weekend.

APD explained that due to the storms last night, the public shooting range will remain closed until Tuesday for repairs and resolution to ensure the complex is safe.

The department issued a statement, saying, "We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the complex is safe and ready for use."
