ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - One man is dead after an overnight shooting in southeast Atlanta, and police are now working to track down the shooter.

Investigators say the victim, described as being in his late 20s, was brought to Fire Station #2 on Jonesboro Road in a private vehicle just before 3 a.m.

Firefighters tried to save him, but his injuries were too severe, and he died at the station.

The victim’s sister told Atlanta News First that he was a 27-year-old man with four children.

The victim arrived in a black Tesla, and detectives are now using license plate readers and the city’s surveillance camera network to figure out where the car came from and where the actual shooting happened.
