MAUMELLE, Ark. – Maumelle police are investigating after a hospital reported a gunshot victim on Saturday morning.

According to investigators, officers determined a person was shot at an apartment in the 200 block of Pine Forest Drive.

Investigators said that the victim of the shooting had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said a suspect has been taken into custody on unrelated charges and is being interviewed.
