WATERFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to a fire in Waterford on Saturday.

First responders were called to the area of Boston Post Road after a report of a commercial fire alarm that quickly changed to a structure fire, the professional firefighters association said.

When crews arrived, they found a dryer fire coming from inside of the building.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No further details were released.
