COLCHESTER, CT (WFSB) - Police asked for help with their investigation into a bike crash on Saturday in Colchester.

According to police, a bicycle was struck by a car on Route 85 at the Route 2 westbound on-ramp.

Authorities said the crash happened around 7:30 p.m.

Before the crash, the bicyclist left the Citgo gas station and traveled south on Route 85.

Police are looking for dash camera video or security footage that may have captured the bicyclist traveling on the right shoulder of Route 85.

Colchester police said the bicyclist was a teenage boy on a black e-bike. He was wearing a dark hoodie, jeans, boots, and a ball cap.

Anyone with video was asked to upload it HERE to police.
