PITTSTON, Pa. — The third annual Wyoming Valley Run presented by Allied Services kicks off Sunday in Pittston.

The 10-mile road race stretches from Pittston to Wilkes-Barre, featuring some of the valley's most iconic views along the way.

The race will begin in downtown Pittston, cross over the Dale J. Kridlo Memorial Bridge into West Pittston, and continue along Wyoming Avenue until Kingston, where runners will turn onto Market Street before finishing at Public Square in downtown Wilkes-Barre.

Drivers should be aware of intermittent road and lane closures during the race. South Main Street in Pittston and the Dale. J. Kridlo Memorial Bridge will be closed until 8:20 a.m. Wyoming Avenue between West Pittston and Kingston will experience closures as well.
