TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died in a crash along U.S. Highway 30 west of Twin Falls on Friday.
The crash occurred at the intersection with North 2600 East at 3:12 p.m. after a pickup truck did not completely stop at a stop sign, according to the sheriff’s office. A Jeep then crashed into the pickup truck.
Paramedics transported the pickup driver and two occupants in the Jeep to a local hospital, according to the sheriff’s office. The pickup truck driver died in the hospital from their injuries. Both Jeep occupants were treated for their injuries and released.
Law enforcement reopened the westbound lanes after closing them at the intersection with North 2700 East for around one hour. Eastbound lanes remained open.
