OMAHA, Neb. —

Good News Church held its annual block party on Saturday.

This was the fifth year of the community event.

Beyond the usual block party attractions of food, games, and bounce houses, the church also helped provide access to resources like diapers, dental checkups, and haircuts all for free.

They said it's a way of showing that Omaha is a community-focused city.

"It's not just Good News Church. The neighborhoods are coming. People from all kinds of nationalities are coming because everybody makes this community and we want everybody to know that. We want to help them get what they need," said Miki Graff.

Good News Church offers a wide variety of community outreach events throughout the year.
