Jamie Vardy has signed for Serie A side US Cremonese.

talkSPORT understands Vardy rejected a late offer from Manchester United and Arsenal legend Robin van Persie to join Feyenoord.

The striker has signed a one-year deal with the option of a further year at Cremonese having passed a medical on deadline day.

The 38-year-old had been a free agent throughout the summer having left Leicester after 13 years at the club.

Vardy won the Premier League and FA Cup with the Foxes before he announced he would depart at the end of the 2024/25 season.
