JACKSON, MI -- The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are two of them.

Pawsitive Vibes is a one-year-old mixed breed dog. Paws is brindle in color with one blue eye and a brown eye and weighs 53 pounds.

She is not a jumper or barker and knows some basic commands. She has done well with children and ignored the cats.

Paws is usually playful and friendly with other dogs. She doesn’t love going in a crate and is not food motivated. Mostly she loves people and seeks their company.

Paws is learning how to walk nicely on the leash. She is house trained and really well behaved in a home.

Gucci is a one-year-old brown tabby cat that came in as a stray. The name Gucci fits her well as she is small in size at just 7 pounds and woul
