GLOVERSVILLE — The Gloversville Common Council approved New York state's Climate Smart Communities Pledge resolution at its Aug. 26 meeting after initially tabling the issue, citing the need for more information.

After being previously tabled, as the Common Council said it needed more information, the resolution was unanimously approved at the Aug. 26 meeting, with the exception of Councilwoman Marcia Weiss, D-Ward 1, who was absent due to illness.
