SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — With Labor Day weekend in full swing, so is the Labor Day weather. Here is a look at what to expect for the remainder of the holiday weekend.
According to meteorologists, more showers and thunderstorms are expected to roll through the Concho Valley due to a stalled frontal boundary. This will continue into the evening and overnight into Monday morning.
Some lingering storms are possible Monday morning, but should clear out throughout the afternoon. Dry conditions are likely; however, a remnant outflow boundary could help trigger additional afternoon, summer-time pop-up storms. No organized severe weather is expected, but some stronger storms could produce gusty winds at about 50mph.
