LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) – As summer is coming to a close, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is shining the spotlight on New Mexico students who spent their summer learning about STEM careers. This summer, LANL held a free summer physics camp instructed by more than 150 volunteer scientists and experts.
The camp was hosted in June at the New Mexico School for the Arts in Santa Fe. Event coordinators say the camp was an immersive STEM experience for more than 30 middle and high school students across New Mexico.
Students also got the chance to tour the inside of the laboratory.
