SHOSHONE, Idaho — Three people were injured Saturday evening when a walkway collapsed inside the Shoshone Ice Caves.
According to Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies, they received a call around 5:47 p.m. regarding a reported bridge collapse inside the cave attraction. Initial reports suggested about 20 people were trapped and injured, but responding emergency crews determined no individuals were trapped inside.
According to the sheriff's office, of the three injured, one person is believed to have suffered possible broken ribs, while two others sustained minor injuries.
Emergency personnel provided medical assistance at the scene before transporting the injured individuals to a hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Multiple agencies responded to the incident, including Lincoln
