ATLANTA — State agencies in Georgia on Sunday released figures for vehicle and boating incidents across Labor Day Weekend so far, with more than 100 crashes and seven boating under the influence citations reported.

A morning post by the Georgia Department of Public Safety outlined vehicle statistics through the weekend so far, including 254 DUIs and 108 total crashes.

There were three fatalities at that point, with a follow-up post after noon indicating that number had risen to seven.

The crashes also left 35 people injured as of the morning post. There were 15 crashes involving a driver under the influence, the post said, and five involving commercial motor vehicles.
