The second week of the high school football season in Pennsylvania is in the books, and there were some more spectacular performances.

PennLive will take a look at the biggest performances each week to produce our weekly All-Pennsylvania All-Star team.

We will also leave it up to you, the fans, to vote for who you think the player of the week was. The winner from Week 1 was Harrisburg tailback and Penn State commit Messiah Mickens. Nearly 2,000 votes were cast and Mickens received 1,785 of them after accounting for 188 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-26 win over Imhotep.

Want your favorite player to be considered? It’s easy enough. Just have your coach or official scorekeeper email Brian Linder at blinder@pennlive.com or to reach out via X @SportsByBlinder by noon on Sundays.
