MULBERRY — The Crawford County Fair will roll into its 105th year this weekend.

The fair starts at 11 a.m. Saturday with a parade through downtown Mulberry. The week-long event ends Sept. 13. The fair takes place at the Mulberry Fair Grounds at 845 Kirksey Parkway.

The annual fair is all about allowing area children a chance to display their projects and animals, according to Crawford County Fair Manager Jared Williams.

“That’s the main reason, letting all these kids show off their projects for the year, and that’s what we focus on more than anything,” Williams said Tuesday.

He said all money raised by the fair goes toward improvements and maintenance for the fairgrounds.
