ORLANDO, Fla. - Florida State University football player and Seminole High School graduate, Ethan Pritchard, was shot near a Gadsden County apartment complex on Sunday, authorities said.

What we know:

Deputies with the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire near 16th Avenue and the Havana Heights Apartments, where they found Pritchard with injuries.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Seminole High School graduate to FSU linebacker

Pritchard was a four-star recruit and was rated among some of the nation’s top linebackers.
