A proposal to convert an outbuilding at a home in a Solihull village into a holiday let has been given the green light by planners.
Applicant Tony Mitcheson submitted the plan to turn the outbuilding of a five-bedroom property in Barston into a place for holiday-makers to enjoy a short stay earlier this year.
In the planning application the applicant said the building at The Croft in Barston Lane was currently used as a garage and a “curtilage outbuilding”.

The conversion work would include “pushing an external wall in line with current roof overhang, and the removal and addition of windows and doors”.
Floor plans showed the building curr
