Getting a film made is one thing. Getting it in front of audiences is a whole different matter.

That’s not to imply that getting a film made is easy. Hilton Head denizen and filmmaker Walter Czura’s experience illustrates the point.

His first screenplay didn’t get produced. His second production, a feature about Union Gen. William T. Sherman's 1864 march to the sea, got made and shown at film festivals, but never got a distribution deal.

For Czura’s most recent outing, the third time appears to be the charm as “ The Final Run ,” has inked a U.S. distribution deal with a number of streaming services.

“It’s going out on Amazon , Apple , Google and Fandango streaming platforms on a pay-per-view basis,” Czura said. “There are thousands of movies that get made and never get sold.
