“A couple of the wagons down there, they’re pretty springy,” McCulloch said. She pointed toward several of the 49 buggies and sleighs parked on display in the Wainfleet arena during the Marshville Heritage Festival on Sunday.
“But this one is comfy,” her husband added.
Coley said they’re much smaller than modern cars and the seats face each other, which fosters a feeling of warmth among the passengers. “There’s a level of intimacy that you wouldn’t necessarily get within a car,” he said.
