CATLETTSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) - Attendees lined Louisa Road to see the procession and be part of the festivities.

Vendors sold their unique creations and workers set up rides.

Tammy Pruitt with Mammy’s Sourdough spoke about the excitement the parade brings.

“It’s great today -- great weather,” Pruitt said. “I grew up in Catlettsburg, so this is stomping ground for me. I have my grandkids here so they’re running around here enjoying the parade.”

The parade route featured a variety of participants.

This is the 58th annual Labor Day celebration in the city.

Rebecca Clere said it’s a great feeling to see this long-standing tradition still going strong.
