Hackett Public Schools to see increase in law enforcement presence due to threat

HACKETT, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Sebastian County Sheriff's Office says that Hackett Public Schools will see increased law enforcement presence for the foreseeable future due to an anonymous threat.

According to a Facebook post, the sheriff's office says it is investigating an anonymous threat received by some students who attend the school district.

The post says the Hackett Police Department and Hackett School District have been made aware of the threats and are taking the necessary safety precautions.
