PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said officers are investigating after a shots fired incident on Felix St. Monday afternoon .

According to police, officers responded to the street for reports of shots fired at an unoccupied vehicle.

Police said nobody was injured.

Part of Felix Street was closed off as police investigated the area.

ABC6 News crews on scene reported seeing evidence markers on the street as well as crime scene tape blocking off the area.

Providence police are investigating the incident.
