EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A man has been arrested in connection with vandalism at two churches in East Baton Rouge Parish.

According to deputies, Jimmie Mouton, 24, is charged with institutional vandalism.

An arrest report states that the churches where the vandalism took place are located in the area of Greenwell Springs Road and Beachview Road.

Investigators responded to a Baptist Church on the morning of Monday, September 1, in response to graffiti being seen on the building, according to the arrest report. Authorities said words on the church appeared to state “Son of God” and “Greedy Pedos.”
