The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose nine-tenths of a cent Monday to $4.64, its 12th increase in the last 13 days.

The average price has increasing 16.4 cents during the last 13 days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 6.1 cents more than one week ago, 16.7 cents higher than one month ago and 4.2 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.853 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose a half-cent Monday to $4.607, its 12th straight increase. It is 5.5 cents more than one week ago, 18.9 cents higher than one month ago and 8.4 cents more than one year ago.
