As expected, Florida State incurred a fine from the ACC after its fans rushed the field at Doak Campbell Stadium Saturday night after beating Alabama football 31-17. The $50,000 fine is the first ever field-storming penalty levied by the conference.

The ACC only implemented field rush fines this past offseason, announcing them in July. The $50,000 penalty is standard for a first offense.

A second storming would cost the offending school $100,000 and subsequent violations go for $200,000 each.
