PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The billion dollar question this Labor Day: What would you do if you won Monday's $1.1 billion Powerball jackpot?

"I'm gonna buy my daughter whatever she wants," said Calvin Swat. "We need a place to stay. We want a new house, a new future."

Said another area resident, Dana Dolson: "I'd buy my mom a house, first of all, then I'd pay off any debts that I'd owe, then I'd pay off my house and then hopefully make an investment so I can get some people working."

The answers are endless, but one thing is for certain — the $1.1 billion jackpot is a life-changing amount of money, so Anthony Dale bought several tickets to amp up his chances.
