MESHOPPEN, Pa. — On a beautiful holiday weekend, what better way to celebrate the unofficial start to the fall season than to take part in the fair season?

David de Jesus, a Great Bend resident, says, "It's been a great day. I manage a store, and I had four days off this weekend, and it's been happiness. I got to see my daughter; she came up from North Carolina, so it's a pretty busy weekend for us."

"We've been up every day this year, which is really, really nice. I don't have a complete count yet because this is the last day of the fair, but typically we get thirty to forty thousand people.", said Wyoming County Fair secretary Pamela Burke.
