CORRALES, N.M. (KRQE) – The Village of Corrales is entering a very special political season as residents prepare for their annual Harvest Festival and Pet Mayor Election. The village is accepting applications for its future pet mayor.

The current mayor is Chico Suave. So far, residents have a wide range of candidates to choose from: • Apple • Billy • Clover • Faith • Riley • Sweet T • Taz • Skywalker • Bobo • Harley • Flopsy • Norbert • Prince

It is $1 per vote. All the money raised will go toward the Corrales Animal Services. The pet mayor will be announced during the Harvest Festival.
