CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) -- The 179th Canfield Fair has officially come and gone. It was an event that drew people from not just the country but all over the world.

"It's a tradition for people to come to the Canfield Fair, but now we definitely have proof that that is the case," said George Roman, director of Grandstand Events and Entertainment.

You might have stopped by a United States map at the fair near the Grandstand. Fairgoers were able to place a colored sticker in the state they were traveling from.

"We have a great time. We look forward to it all year long. It's bittersweet because it's the end of summer, but we still look forward to it.
