MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - As Labor Day weekend marks an end to the summer season for many, and classes begin for many school districts soon, back-to-school shopping is in full swing. Many took advantage of the holiday weekend and special sales to gear up.
At ‘Hive of Madison’, the shop owner says this weekend was a great way to finish their summer season and get ready for the fall.
“Back-to-school always feels bittersweet this time of year, to watch the kids go back, and watch things kind of wind down, but I think we’ve had a great summer here. I think in Madison, it’s been really lovely and this long, drawn-out weekend is kind of a good frosting on the cupcake before they go back to school,” explained the owner of Hive, Pam Schwarzbach.
