DELAVAN ( 25News Now ) - The small town of Delavan is setting a record this year at its annual Labor Day event.
The Delavan Labor Day Truck and Tractor Pull, which kicked off Sunday, has been around for about 50 years.
Sunday, the truck and tractor show brought out 600 people, the largest crowd in the event’s history. This year’s event also had the most participant entries.
Organizers believe events like this help people see tractors in a different light.
“Being a farming community, I think that it’s something that we see around a lot, but the people come to watch because you don’t get to see these tractors do something like this besides working, so they like the entertainment of it all,z’
