A young motorist was left red-faced after she drove straight into oncoming traffic. The horror moment was captured on Dignairy Saret de Vos’s dash cam.

Thankfully the mishap didn’t result in a head-on accident. But she claims it was caused by misleading road markings.

Cafe supervisor Dignairy, 20, admitted her “heart was in her mouth” when she accidentally turned the wrong way. It happened at White City Circle in Trafford , Manchester, on 17 August.

The nerve-shredding clip shows her setting off from the lights before swinging right - straight into cars coming at her.

Shaken Dignairy quickly realised the blunder, slamming on the brakes before pulling off a three-point turn.
