LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Finally, after a stormy stretch of weather over the past week, we are getting to the payoff as high pressure is building in!

We still have a little humidity with us as we are stepping out the door and that is causing a little bit of fog to start the day, especially where we had some rain back on Monday.

Tuesday will feature a similar set up as we see mostly sunny skies during the morning hours, with a few clouds building through the afternoon and evening.

High temperatures will once again return to the lower 90s, but that is very seasonable for this time of year.

As for rain chances, they will remain mostly spotty with the best coverage of rain and storms staying along the immediate coastline.
