A woman and a teenager are due in court accused of causing unnecessary suffering to protected animals. Diane Kenvyn and Ellissa Rose Kenvyn are set to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
It is alleged that the Middlesbrough pair “caused unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, namely three malinois type dogs called Beau, Covou, Max and a cross breed dog called Rocco". Court documents add that Diane Kenvyn, 42, and Ellissa Rose Kenvyn, 18, allegedly failed to “investigate and address the causes of their poor bodily condition and weight loss”.
