New acts come to north state in September | All Along the Watchtower

With just a couple of exceptions, the performers this month are new to the north state.

September starts off with blues-rockers The Record Company at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Big Room on Sept. 5. The Los Angeles trio of Chris Vos (guitar/vocals), Alex Stiff (bass), and Mark Cazorla (drums) earned praise for their debut album, 2016’s “Give it Back to You.”

The band has since earned its spot in the blues world as evidenced by its participation in the 6-day blues cruise to Alaska later this month. The sold-out voyage features 22 blues artists, including Shemeka Copeland, Marcus King, Little Feet, and is headlined by Joe Bonamassa.
