Plans are under way for a night in which creativity takes center stage and a skating rink becomes a concrete canvas for designers, models, and dreamers.

Saturday, the Ribbon — known to skaters as the Pond — will trade skates for stilettos as it transforms into a dazzling open-air runway for a one-of-a-kind fashion show — Metamorphosis.

Toledo’s new fashion council Who’s Behind The Show 419, or WBTS419, and Glass City River Walk, operated by Metroparks Toledo, are partnering to host an event that allows Toledo’s creative spirit to unfurl its wings, promising not only a show but also a transformation.
