Rasmus Hojlund believes that he is a better striker than Manchester United’s £74m summer signing Benjamin Sesko, according to reports.
Napoli confirmed on deadline day that they had signed Hojlund on loan for the 2025-26 campaign, which is thought to include a £38m obligation to buy next summer if the Italian club quality for the Champions League.
Hojlund has endured two tough seasons at Old Trafford since his £72m arrival but he was keen to stay at United and fight for his place in the team.
However, Hojlund reluctantly accepted that his United career was over after being repeatedly left out of Ruben Amorim’s matchday squads.
According to The Athletic, Hojlund, who scored just four Premier League goals last season, has been left ‘heartbroken’ over his United exit.
