Patriots fans won’t have to wait much longer to watch New England’s top receiver in game action.

Wideout Stefon Diggs was a full participant throughout training camp despite suffering a torn ACL last October. And though Diggs and his representatives have insisted the 31-year-old would be ready for Week 1, many fans were dubious he’d clear that checkpoint with only 10 months of recovery time.

Well, the speculation can end. During Tuesday’s episode of WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show”, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel gave a clear answer when asked whether Diggs will play in Sunday’s season opener.

“Yep, as of today, he’ll be out there,” Vrabel said.
